New Warhammer 40k Expansion From Forge World – Zone Mortalis

It looks like Forge World is putting out a mini Warhammer 40k Expansion – Zone Mortalis. This new expansion deals with ship boardings and close combat fighting. There aren’t any pictures up yet, but they are releasing a set of Realm of Battle terrain that is going to be corridor based. The set is 98 British Pounds and will come with four 1×1 sections. It looks like you would need 6 of these sets to fill a normal sized game board.

The set is up at the Forge World sight and the experimental rules are available for download. I have skimmed over the rules and it feels like Space Hulk on steroids.

I can’t wait to see what this terrain looks like and I am also looking forward to digging into the rules a bit more, this might just make for some fun short term campaign play like Mordheim.
