First 6th Ed Tournament News, Forgeworld Models To Be ‘Officialy’ Sanctioned By GW?

Two bits of news this Saturday afternoon. First up BeakyCon has posted up how they are going to handle 6th edition rules for their tournament. This looks like it will be a pretty standard format for a while. Fliers are in, allies are in, 1999 points (no second FOC), fortifications are in (except Fortress of Redemption), and all the mysterious terrain is out. I have played one game of 6th 40k so far and watched about five and this seems to be a good way to handle a tournament just coming in to the new edition.

The second bit of news is that I keep seeing that Forgeworld Models might be officialy sanctioned by GW for use in normal play. This rumor has been a long time coming but hopefully we will see a GW FAQ in the next week or two.
