With the Warhammer 40k 6th edition rules allowing allies I decided I needed to get the ball rolling. Since I am in the process of redoing my Chaos Space Marines and I had a spare Vendetta laying around I decided to paint it up in CSM colors. I toyed around with a few options and decided to go with an Iron Warriors theme.
I have been painting a lot of yellow lately and I figured I could do some pretty good hazard stripes using an airbrush and some painters tape. The overall process was pretty easy. I primed the underside of the model black and the top white. I then built up a few layers of yellow and masked off where I wanted the yellow to be. I then hit the model with a layer of black and peeled the tape off when it was dry.
From there I did a bit of drybrushing to bring out some detail and then I painted the canopy glass. Easy as that.

Sweet! the stripes turned out great!
That looks awesome. You should do a second IG army in that scheme.
